IMD warns of intense heatwave in Maharashtra, issues yellow alert

According to the weather department, dry weather is expected to continue in most parts of Maharashtra, IMD has issued yellow alert for next five day in north and Central Maharashtra.

New Delhi: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an warning stating that Mumbai and several parts of Maharashtra are likely to face heatwave-like conditions for the next three days. The weather agency said temperatures are expected to rise gradually in the state till May 15.
