Dehradun: Topics like forest fire and landslide are likely to be included in the school curriculum of Uttarakhand. The hill state faces a major challenge to deal with forest fire and landslides. The state government apparently wants students to learn the art of dealing with such problems. The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) is designing the school curriculum as per the requirement of the state.

Keeping in mind the needs and aspirations of the hill state, the SCERT is working on “State Curriculum Framework for Foundational Stage”. The school curriculum is prepared under the New Education Policy 2020. The final draft of the proposed school curriculum will be........
