Sangli: In a shocking incident reported from Sangli district of Maharashtra, a woman along with her son and an accomplice, murdered her husband to claim Rs 1 crore insurance. The mother and son duo, who attempted to stage the death as an accident, were later arrested by the police.

According to police, the accused have been identified as Vanita Baburao Patil, her son Tejas Baburao Patil, and their associate Bhimrao Ganpatrao Hulwan. All three have been were arrested on March 1 from Sangli.
