Trump, who recently took office, had promised to end the Russia-Ukraine war soon, and this is his first big step in the diplomatic direction. In a post on the internet media platform X, Trump said that he and Putin have asked their respective teams to start talks immediately. Both countries will work closely together.

On seeing America’s stance on the Ukraine war, Zelenskyy’s tone changed, and at the security conference in Germany, he expressed the need for the formation of a strong European army to face Russia. Zelenskyy said that Europe cannot expect security from America for a long time.........
