Hyderabad: In a major development for India’s road infrastructure, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and state highway authorities are actively working to expand the nation’s highway network, significantly enhancing connectivity between cities and reducing travel times. A landmark addition to this network is the highly anticipated Raipur-Hyderabad Expressway, which forms a key part of the Raipur-Hyderabad Economic Corridor and is anticipated to get ready for operations in August this year.

Spanning 530 kilometers, this new expressway will be an access-controlled, greenfield route designed to drastically improve connectivity between Chhattisgarh and Telangana. Once completed, it will reduce the travel time between Raipur and Hyderabad from 12-14 hours........
