Noida: In a determined push to bring order to its often chaotic roads, Noida authorities have begun suspending the driving licences of more than 200 repeat traffic offenders, hoping to send a clear message that rule-breaking will no longer be tolerated. The Noida Traffic Police have submitted a list of habitual violators to the district’s transport department, recommending licence suspensions under existing legal provisions.

Most of the names on the list belong to motorists who have flouted traffic laws on five or more occasions. Their infractions were recorded through both surveillance cameras and on-ground checks. This crackdown forms part of a broader campaign to rein in dangerous driving practices across Gautam Budh Nagar district.
