Bengaluru: Ride-hailing platform Rapido has announced the launch of Pink Rapido, a women-only bike taxi service, in Karnataka by the end of the year. The initiative is designed to provide safer transportation options for women while also opening up new employment opportunities for female drivers.

The announcement was made at the Global Investment Summit, where Rapido’s leadership underscored their commitment to empowering women in the mobility sector. As part of the initiative, the company plans to introduce 25,000 women captains, ensuring a secure and reliable travel experience for female passengers.
