Mumbai: Mumbai’s bustling local train network is set to experience significant disruptions this weekend, as the Western Railway has announced a 13-hour block on the fast lines between Grant Road and Mumbai Central stations. The block, which is scheduled from 10 PM on Saturday to 11 AM on Sunday, will affect both up and down fast line services, leaving many commuters scrambling for alternative travel options.

Vineet Abhishek, Chief Public Relations Officer for Western Railway, confirmed that all trains on the impacted routes will be diverted to the slow lines between Churchgate and Mumbai Central.
