Bengaluru: Commuters have expressed concerns over proposed toll prices for the upcoming twin-tube tunnel road in Bengaluru. The tunnel road will link Hebbal with Silk Board Junction. A report by the Indian Express said that the toll for the 16.6 km stretch of the tunnel road will be Rs 330 for cars. In addition to this, the toll charges are likely to surge every year by 5 per cent based on the wholesale price index.

The report added that the proposed toll system is chalked out with a 40 per cent cap on the annual rise with FY 2030-31 set as the base year for all toll revenue........
