Noida: With an aim to ensure pedestrian safety, the Noida Authority will build foot overbridges (FOBs) in busy areas of the city. As per initial plans, these FOBs will come up in Noida Sectors 37, 62, 63, Noida Expressway, and Mamura. Official said that these spots were finalised via a survey conducted in the busy areas of the city. At present, due to absence of FOBs, the pedestrians are forced to go to the other side through road, which risks their lives.

Noida Authority CEO Lokesh M said that the authority will build the FOBs in busy areas of the city to ensure that the pedestrians can cross over the busy roads without risking their lives or disturbing the smooth flow of traffic. He added that directions have been issued to........
