Bengaluru: In a good news for Bangaloreans, the hike in Namma Metro ticket prices might not go up this year. The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) had planned to increase the ticket prices for Namma Metro services by 45 per cent. However, the Central government has not given a green signal to the proposal. The Centre has asked the BMRCL to share a detailed report justifying the proposed hike in Bengaluru Metro fares.
