Asus Vivobook 14 Review
When it comes to laptops, all I need is performance residing in a lightweight and stylish device to carry daily during the hectic commute. Long battery and rich display are some added benefits which can make it a perfect option. However, you can find compromises in something or other when it comes to experience.
I remember, just a couple of years ago, finding a powerful laptop in a lightweight design used to be a hassle simply due to limited options if you aren’t looking for a MacBook. Ultimately, I had to settle with a Lenovo Yoga series laptop. Cut to 2025, you can find a bunch of options. The new Asus Vivobook 14 comes as one of these options, which can’t be considered a budget laptop at Rs 75,990, but happily takes care of performance while managing to keep it simple and well built. After spending a few weeks with it, here is how the Asus Vivobook 14 (X1407) fares.
Asus Vivobook 14 isn’t something that will leave you in awe! Instead, it is a simple and well-built laptop. The sole Quiet Blue colour variant here has a classic minimalistic look but it is lightweight. It has an Asus ErgoSense keyboard too, which is compact to perfectly use multiple keys without lifting my palm. The touchpad has enough room, which is good as it also comes with intuitive gesture support to manage brightness and volume, however, the accidental touch on it can be frustrating. It features a flexible 180° hinge, so sharing the laptop screen in a meeting room is also not a hassle.........
