New Delhi: Fan favourite MS Dhoni has been at the receiving end of criticism on social media over his poor batting performances in the last two games of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). It was already miserable for “Thala” when he came to bat at no.9 for CSK against RCB in a lost cause, but even his no.7 arrival on Sunday didn’t suit the fans at all.

Rajasthan Royals (RR) hosted CSK in Guwahati and set a 183-run target for the five-time champions. CSK’s batting woes came upfront as the team struggled to get a decent powerplay score and kept on losing wickets on the other hand. It was a sea of yellow even at the home ground of RR as they all anticipated the arrival of their beloved Thala, who didn’t disappoint them, and came to bat when CSK were five down.
