New Delhi: Firefly Aerospace is on the verge of attempting a soft landing attempt on the lunar surface with its Blue Ghost probe. The lander is carrying ten commercial payloads for NASA, that have been realised in partnership with research labs, academic institutions and prive companies across USA. Blue Ghost will attempt a landing within the Sea of Crises or Mare Crisium, a dark patch towards the northeast corner of the Moon visible to the naked eye.
