NASA postpones Axiom 4 mission because of leaks on International Space Station
New Delhi: The Axiom 4 mission to the International Space Station piloted by ISRO Gaganyatri Shubhanshu Shukla has been postponed by NASA and Axiom Space because of leaks on Russian segment of the International Space Station (ISS). The Zvezda service module’s interior surfaces were examined by Cosmonauts on board the orbital complex, to measure the current leak rate. The segment is holding internal pressure, but NASA and Roscosmos need additional time to evaluate the hardware and determine if additional troubleshooting is required. A weather forecast for the flight was issued by the US Military on 13 June, even though a launch was not scheduled.
