New Delhi: The Space Weather Prediction Centre (SWPC) operated by the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), has issued an alert for a minor geomagnetic storm because of a high speed stream (HSS) from a coronal hole (CH) aimed straight at the Earth, “Unsettled to active levels are expected on 09 Feb due to negative polarity CH HSS effects.
