New Delhi: Firefly Aerospace has announced that it has successfully executed the burn for the translunar injection of the Blue Ghost Moon Lander. The commercial lunar probe had been gradually increasing the altitude of its orbit around the Earth since it was launched by a SpaceX Falcon 9 on 15 January from Florida. The Blue Ghost will now spend four days on the journey to the Moon, before being captured by the lunar gravity. It will spend 16 days in orbit around the Moon, gradually lowering its altitude till it is prepared to execute a soft, controlled landing,........
