Zeeshan Akhtar, prime suspect in Baba Siddique's murder, held in Canada
New Delhi: Zeeshan Akhtar, the man believed to be behind the killing of former Maharashtra minister and NCP (Ajit Pawar faction) leader Baba Siddique, has been detained in Canada, Mumbai Police said on Tuesday. Siddique, 66, was shot dead by three men outside the Bandra (East) office of his son, former MLA Zeeshan Siddique, on the night of October 12, 2024.
According to a statement from the police, Akhtar had been missing since the murder and was recently taken into custody in Canada. Investigators are now trying to find out how he managed to escape India after the incident. More details about his........
