Every time Congress scion Rahul Gandhi speaks after an Indian national security operation, he achieves the following three things: First, he alienates patriotic Indians. Second, he gives the BJP a massive boost. Example, sulking and mocking PM Narendra Modi after the Balakot airstrikes made the BJP come back in 2019 with a massive majority. Third, he opens a can of worms from the past which Congress desperately struggles to keep buried.

Gandhi’s utterances after Operation Sindoor have hit that sweet spot again. On May 17, a week after India stopped pounding Pakistan’s terror camps and military bases in retaliation to the Pahalgam massacre by Pakistan-sponsored terrorists, Gandhi attacked External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar instead of offering the Union government bipartisan support.

He posted on X: “Informing Pakistan at the start of our attack was a crime. EAM has publicly admitted that GOI did it. Who authorised it? How many aircraft did our airforce lose as a result?"

Through his post, Gandhi gave credence to Pakistani fake news—thoroughly discredited even........
