To my Democratic friends: It’s time to rid your party of the Democratic Socialists of America and its allies before it’s too late (“Final nail in coffin,” Issac Schorr, Aug. 6).

Abdul El-Sayed’s victory in Michigan shows the power of the DSA, even in a purple state.

This is not the party of Franklin Roosevelt and John Kennedy. It’s time for former President Barack Obama, Sen. Chuck Schumer and the rest of the Democratic establishment to grow a spine and show these radicals the door, before it’s too late.
