Democrats hoping to appear ‘normal’ as they roll out their blue wave of weirdos ahead of critical midterms

When we return to work after the Labor Day weekend, the hope is that America will start paying attention to the stark choice offered at the midterm elections in November.

There are just two months left until voters decide whether the Trump administration can continue the free enterprise agenda that is sparking an economic boom and keep reversing the woke cultural insanity that ruined so many lives — or whether the big-government socialists who call themselves Democrats will cripple all that progress and mire the country in another round of debilitating impeachment politics.

While historical precedent and the pundit class predict a blue wave — or even a tsunami — will annihilate the Trump agenda, a cashed-up Donald Trump and his formidable administration officials are planning to put up a fight that Democrats are in no position to match, if reality means anything.

The battle lines could not be clearer.

Democrats last week voted against a resolution in the House condemning socialism, playing beautifully into Newt Gingrich’s framing of the election as a choice between “big government socialism and weird values, or a Republican Party focused on creating a better future for every American.”

By contrast, the GOP’s first midterm convention in Dallas this week will attempt to showcase the successes of the first half of the second Trump term that thus far have been muted by successful media nay-saying, clumsy messaging and a president distracted by war.
