Judge Judy parties before quitting on-screen TV work

Judge Judy gave a party a few nights ago. If you were invited, it looked to me like almost 100 bodies. If you weren’t invited, I don’t know anything about any party.

Started 6:30. Those needing Serutan shots left 10:30ish. Younger folks are probably still there. About bedtime-ish Judy herself disappeared. Being No. 1 on TV for 20 years with happy viewers and sometimes unhappy litigants, off came the extravagant floor-length silver gown, on went pajamas.

Judy had imported a singer. A TV, larger than for an observatory, showed her lawyer son Adam Levy’s new CBS-TV show “Adam’s Law,” which began Monday.
