Oil costs a fortune, no one can afford houses and don’t even get me started about health care. Food costs are through the roof. Tech bosses are blithely unleashing algorithms hardly anyone understands and apparently no one can control.

Mortgage delinquencies are surging. The economy has shrunk for two quarters in a row, which is the definition of a recession, and the cause of the problem still has more than two years in the White House to start wars, invent tariffs and generally cause havoc before we can (please Lord) be free of him.
