Spending long hours in the Minneapolis heat selling pest control door-to-door might not sounds like a dream job. But that’s exactly where Shelby Sapp found herself a few years ago when she took a summer sales job with Rossford, Ohio-based EcoShield Pest Solutions in 2021. The job gave her more than sunburns and blisters.

Sapp quickly discovered she had a knack for sales, developing her own “no BS” philosophy for selling door-to-door as a young woman, which she began sharing with followers on Instagram and TikTok. The community of aspiring saleswoman she built quickly grew. Sapp currently has more than 300,000 followers each on Instagram and TikTok, and her videos often achieve millions of views, with the most-watched video having garnered 9.8 million views.
