Samsung and Google’s New Smart Glasses Have a Secret Weapon That Meta Can’t Easily Copy

On stage at Google I/O in May, a product manager named Nishtha Bhatia put on a prototype pair of the audio glasses Google had built with Samsung. She asked Gemini to find a coffee shop along her walking route, then had it place her usual order through DoorDash before she reached the counter. She never touched her phone. It was a small, slightly awkward demo, but it showed what Google and Samsung think the real case for smart glasses looks like.

That case came back into public view on July 22, when Samsung used its Galaxy Unpacked event in London to show the hardware........
