Fashion industry execs tend to be a pretty restrained lot, leaving the drama largely to the creatives and, you know, the actual clothes. But at a runway show for Swedish fashion brand COS in New York on September 13, with the likes of Michelle Williams, Lupita Nyong’o, and Dominic Sessa in attendance, Steven Kolb, CEO of the Council of Fashion Designers of America, the industry trade group that organizes New York Fashion Week, stunned onlookers when he reacted to animal rights protesters who disrupted the show.
