Anthropic Just Released a Powerful Mythos-Class Model to the Public—With Some Key Safeguards

Anthropic has finally released a version of Claude Mythos, its most powerful model yet, but most people will experience it under a different name. 

The company just announced Claude Fable 5, its first commercially available Mythos-class model. The Dario Amodei-led company says that the new model’s capabilities “exceed those of every model we’ve previously made generally available.” The model is the first in Anthropic’s new line of Claude 5 models.
