President Donald Trump hailed his “strength and wisdom” in a wise-ass plea to Canadians to vote for him on their election day on Monday.

Amid his ceaseless antagonism of the United States’ northern neighbour, Trump made himself the story as Canada goes to the polls to elect a prime minister.

His tariffs and annexation threats have certainly become a campaign issue up there, so naturally, he took time out from his legally dubious deportations, recession-tempting global trade war and clumsy peace talks to troll Canada.

“Good luck to the Great people of Canada,”
