Anthony Hopkins absolutely relished the chance to riff on a baffling new product from Kim Kardashian’s Skims shapewear brand.

In a cheeky Instagram Reel posted on Thursday, the two-time Oscar winner played up the unsettling vibe of the line’s latest offering, a $48 (around £36) designer chinstrap called the Seamless Sculpt Face Wrap, with an homage to one of his most iconic characters.

Drawing on the product’s comparisons to the fiendish mask Anthony wore as serial killer Hannibal Lecter in 1991’s Silence Of The Lambs, the Welsh actor put on the face wrap, stared into the camera and purred: “Hello Kim, I’m already feeling 10 years younger.”
