When the Social Security Administration released the official list of the most popular baby names in the U.S., it also shared broader data on all the names given to five or more newborns last year.

It turns out many parents eschewed top picks like Olivia, Liam and Emma in favour of less conventional options such as Whisper, Dragon, Missouri and Stoic.
