Sarah Jessica Parker is such a mainstay at the Met Gala that many were left wondering where the Sex And The City actor was on Monday.

Unfortunately, the fashion darling revealed ahead of time that she would have to miss the exclusive event ― which is always held on the first Monday in May ― due to other commitments.

“I have to work,” Sarah Jessica told Entertainment Tonight last week.
