Season one of Netflix’s dark comedy Beef centred on a road rage incident between two complete strangers, played by Steven Yeun and Ali Wong, which dramatically spirals out of control and takes over both of their lives.

The second run in the anthology series starts a totally separate story, following the feud between a newly-engaged Gen Z couple, played by Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny, and a pair of married millennials, portrayed by Carey Mulligan and Oscar Isaac.
