I’m a shopping writer - trust me, you need this steam mop
I used to be a homes writer, which means that I’ve tried out pretty much every steam mop there is - from cheaper models to the viral Shark steam mop.
But despite having tested out a number of steam mops, I’d never tried a design that featured a detergent tank. Which is why I was so excited to learn that the new Swan 16-in-1 steam mop has a handy built-in detergent tank that you can fill with the cleaner of your choice.
Usually, when I’m steam cleaning my floors, I use a spray bottle to spray the floor in front of the mop, before I then mop over the area. So, the concept of a steam mop having a built-in detergent tank was super exciting to see.
What’s great about this feature is that you can use the mop with or without detergent, depending on what you’re cleaning. But even without detergent, according to Swan, ‘steam cleaning kills 99.9% of bacteria, germs, and viruses’ and is ideal for a ‘more thorough hygienic clean of your home’. So, regardless of whether you use the mop with or without detergent, it should leave your home totally spotless.
