As the sun warmed the Sunday morning before Memorial Day, members of Boy Scout Troop and Pack 242 gathered at the N1 section of the Houston National Cemetery.
Most of them had prepared for the heat by filling their water bottles, as instructed. In my rush to get my children there on time, I missed the note that we needed also to bring tools — a screwdriver........
