How Trump's SNAP cuts would take food off 700,000 Texans' tables

I've attended many Christian churches and read enough Bible verses to know that helping to feed the hungry is something you should do.
It's a duty of mercy, even if the hungry ones don't look like you.
The paradox is that Republicans in Congress, some of whom claim to be good conservative Christians, don't seem to care.
