Barbecue at CorkScrew BBQ
The Michelin Guide unveiled its inaugural restaurant awards for Texas this week, and a surprising number of barbecue joints were among the honorees. CorkScrew BBQ in Spring, along with three other Texas spots, even snagged the first-ever one-star reviews awarded to U.S. barbecue establishments.
For many years the Michelin Guide has been synonymous with French haute cuisine and cutting-edge international fare. More recently Michelin expanded its scope to include a wider range of cuisines, showcasing excellence in regional traditions.
