Trump budget cuts popular programs, but not the deficit, adding to financial cri

President Donald Trump and his lapdogs in Congress are moving forward with his “Big, Beautiful Bill” that perpetuates decades of irresponsible budgeting. Texans should listen to our very own U.S. Rep. Chip Roy, who correctly diagnoses the coming crisis, even if he prescribes the wrong medicine.
“We are writing checks we cannot cash, and our children are going to pay the price,” Roy said Friday before voting against the bill. “It does not do what we say it does with respect to deficits.”
