NEET results were recently out and as a customary practice we had stories of toppers flashing all over. Mainstream media covers it in that usual format of toppers’ pics, their routine quotes, and some statistics. Social media, however, is a different creature. It creates not just a spectacle, it makes it hilarious at times. Garlanded students, joyous parents, excited neighbourhood, and a person with a mic saying anything that comes to his mind. Things could come to such a pass, who could have imagined sometime back.........
