An underage girl abused by a doctor. A 12-year-old girl molested and murdered by a drunk male. Allegations of threats and sexual perversion, and worst, rape and murder, have been making headlines for quite some time now. As if it has become a norm now. An incident pops up, shocking masses in disbelief, followed by the gradual wearing off of its intensity. Everything else is forgotten, until another tragic incident wakes us up. And the cycle continues.

We process tragedies, dissect them, and punish offenders, and that’s it. No stepping forward to understand the root cause of these animal behaviours.
