We’ve been reading that anger is an emotion that invites danger. Interestingly, ‘anger’ is one letter short of ‘danger’. But behavioural psychologists are of the view that no (human) emotion is absolutely good or bad. Just like ‘sex’ as a raw emotion can be sublimated into great creativity and become ‘apex’, ‘anger’ can also be creatively used as a positive emotion, provided we understand its potential and limit(s). Anger is not just an emotion but a powerful force that has the potential to change the world around us. Anger can propel individuals to take action and make a difference in their own lives and the lives of others. It serves as a reminder that, when channelled constructively, fury or anger can be a driving force for positive change and revolutionary transformation. By allowing anger to fuel the fire within, individuals are empowered to stand up for their beliefs and work towards creating a more just and equitable society.
