An AI agent that can act as your personal assistant is generating a lot of buzz—and investor interest.

Instinct promises to handle tasks like reading and answering texts and emails, or even booking a flight. It has raised at least three rounds in the last few months, and is now worth over $2.5 billion. And the AI agent isn’t even available to the public yet: VC insiders must invite you to download it.

Still, its level of access to personal data has sparked concerns—Instinct’s terms of use allow for “perpetual and irrevocable” storage of user data, which could be used to train its AI models, TechCrunch reported.
