Forbes Daily: Apple Now Allows Customers To Lease Their Products

You’ve heard of leasing a car—and now there’s a new way to lease your next iPhone, too.

Apple and Klarna announced a program Tuesday that will allow customers to lease rather than purchase the tech giant’s products, including iPhones, Apple Watches, iPads and Macs. Monthly payments start at $17.99 per month for the iPhone for 12- or 24-month periods.

The financing option comes as consumers have turned to the growing Buy Now, Pay Later industry to help offset rising prices. Apple, which became only the second company in history to reach a $5 trillion market cap on Tuesday, has continued to raise the cost of its products this year.
