The Spatial Paradox
As India charts its ambitious course to achieve “Viksit Bharat” —developed nation status by 2047—the success of this mission is inextricably linked to the ability of its urban centres to function effectively as powerful engines of economic growth. It is argued that this spatial paradox is not a result of market forces alone but is a direct consequence of a systemic and persistent governance deficit.
