From axing the carbon tax to tightening immigration, boosting defence spending and backing pipelines, is it possible that a Conservative government is what Canadians actually want, but too many Liberals have trained themselves, like Pavlov’s dogs, to reflexively salivate hatred at the mere words “Conservative?” or “Poilievre?”

It can’t be that people believe the Liberals have a better plan. They are using the Conservative plan.

Pierre Poilevre, given the go-ahead to remain as Conservative leader at their convention over the weekend said, “First they said Conservatives have no policies, it’s just slogans. Then they said Conservative policies are very scary. Then they said we agree with all the Conservative policies.”
