LILLEY: Mark Carney's highly-touted project list is hardly ambitious

So, we’re getting a new LNG export port, a few mines, and a hydro project. That’s great, but it’s hardly the kind of ambition the country needs, and once again, Mark Carney isn’t living up to his own rhetoric.

The Carney government has released their list of approved major projects of national interest, or at least leaked them to CBC two days before the official announcement.

A new LNG export terminal in British Columbia, a hydro-electric project in Iqaluit, a nickel mine in Ontario, a graphite mine in Quebec and a tungsten and critical minerals mine in New Brunswick. These are all fine projects; they should all go ahead.

The real question:........
