Investigation after disabled woman pinned in alleged car park hit-and-run
After undergoing major surgery in 2023 for a rare spinal disease called Thoracic Dural Arteriovenous Fistula (DAVF), Lisa Bromley-Evans says her powerchair and adapted car became a "lifeline".
So, when the 53-year-old from Thetford parked at a Bury St Edmunds Retail Park disabled spot on New Year's Eve at around 3.45pm, she was in "complete disbelief" at what she says happened to her.
The Suffolk mother-of-two, said: "I went round the back of the car to get my powerchair and all of a sudden I saw a grey Lexus coming towards me.
