iBOXiT, based in Norwich, is a climate-tech start-up delivering patented packaging solutions to replace expanded polystyrene (EPS) in cold chain logistics. Its fully compostable packaging is made from agricultural waste and matches EPS on strength, insulation and durability.

The business also sells a plant-based antimicrobial spray that extends shelf life by up to 14 days, reducing waste and loss across the supply chain.

In just 18 months, iBOXiT has secured funding, filed four patents and built strong international traction.

Highlighting the company’s “clear mission and values”, the judges said that iBOXiT is offering a “superb innovation with an opportunity to make a huge positive impact globally”.
