Family businesses scoop award wins at Norfolk and Suffolk Food & Drink Awards

And the winner is… The Old Store Norfolk, Snettisham, Norfolk
The Old Store Norfolk is a bakery and brunchery near King’s Lynn in Norfolk, which serves up delicious things in and on bread alongside coffee, fresh juices, smoothies and cocktails.
The family-run business was named “Local Gem” and one of the “50 Best Bakeries” in the country by Good Food Guide in 2025, as well as being included in Millie Kenny Rider’s Britain’s Best Bakeries in 2024.
The customer service shines through, and the team love recognising their regulars, remembering their orders and favourite table.
The judges said The Old Store was a standout winner.
“Everything was so inviting and all the produce freshly made on the premises,” they commented, adding that service came with a smile and great recommendations.
In a very strong category, one of the things that clinched it for the judges was “the best hash browns we have ever had!”
