Stabbed victim jumps from window to escape scissor attacker in Norfolk village

The man, who was left bleeding profusely after suffering a severed artery, had to stagger to a neighbour’s property to seek help.

Norwich Crown Court heard he had been attacked in the early hours of March 18 after allowing the attacker, Stuart Brittain, and his girlfriend to temporarily stay at his home at Kiln Close in Poringland.

Brittain, 36, had denied causing grievous bodily harm but pleaded guilty to wounding with intent on the first day of his planned trial.
