The trio raised funds for You Are Not Alone (YANA) through a kayaking challenge over three rivers last summer.

Holt Rotary Club president Janice Broughton and one of the kayakers - John Rampling -handed the cheque to YANA patron Lady Dannatt at a ceremony last Saturday (March 28).

Lady Dannatt - who is Lord Lieutenant of Norfolk - was delighted to receive the cheque to help support YANA’s work.

YANA charity director Robin Hepburn said: “YANA’s helpline offers access to vital support for our farming community, especially those at risk of suicide.

"But we couldn’t do what we do without amazing support from people like John and those of Holt Rotary.”
